FIG Congress 2022 - Registration has opened

Register now for the FIG Congress 2022 in

Dear Friend and Colleague,
After 2 years of not being able to meet in
person, this will now hopefully finally
change. We have come to terms with our new
reality, but our desire to connect
face-to-face has never been stronger. The
Congress gives passionate professionals the
opportunity to learn globally, learn across
silos, from other countries, industries and
professional roles – with sessions and
representation from the broad rage of
surveyors and geospatial experts. Meeting in
person makes a difference, and has impact on
careers, organizations and communities. It is
also a unique way to experience Poland and its
culture.
The overall theme of the congress is
Volunteering for the future –
Geospatial excellence for a better living.
The congress will be packed with a technical
programme, exhibition, pre-seminars, meetings
and the FIG General Assembly. Apart from this,
the congress also offers a variety of social
events, technical tours and social tours.
We cannot wait to meet again in
person. Although we have learned that online meetings work
well, the face-to-face presence brings an
extra layer to a conference experience.
Previous surveys have shown that benefits are:

Social events
Included in your registration fee is the
welcome reception and cultural evening.
Here you get the opportunity to talk to other
congress participants who have not met
directly for a long time. This will also give
a unique insight into Polish culture in
company with The Song and Dance
Ensemble of Warsaw University of Technology.
The FIG Congress Dinner will take place on
Tuesday 13 September. This special event and
exclusive dinner of the Congress will take
place in a unique place, the main hall of the
Warsaw University of Technology, representing
the cradle of Polish Surveying. During the FIG
Congress dinner, guests will have another
opportunity to meet The Song and Dance
Ensemble of Warsaw University of Technology
and try their own talent in folk dancing. The
best entertainment will be guaranteed by the
Engineers Band.

Technical and social tours
Besides the general conference with
technical sessions, we have made it easier for
you to explore Warsaw and Poland with several
technical and social tours. The tours are
organised by a local tour operator and offer a
variety of activities to get to know more
about Warsaw and its surroundings and the
cultural and natural history of Poland.

How to register
Registration for delegates, accompanying
persons and daily registrations is done
through our online registration form. The
registration is complete when FIG Office has
received your registration and payment.
In the same form you can also register for
the FIG Congress Dinner and pre-events. Please
remember to book your technical or social
tours via the local tour operator.

If you register before 10 May 2022
you will pay the Early Bird Fee of 550 EUR.
After this date the registration fee will
increase.
Currently it is not possible to register
for online participation.
Accomodation
The Congress hotel will be the Double Tree
by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Warsaw
where the congress takes place.
Rooms can be booked through a separate link
with a
favourable Congress rate. We recommend you to
book this hotel as it is convenient for you.
In order to get the special congress rate you
must book yor room by 30 June 2022. We also have

Warsaw.
