Pacific Meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal, an inspiring event held
alongside the FIG Regional Meeting. Under the theme "Empowered
Youth for Climate Resilient Land" this gathering is a call to
action for young surveyors ready to address the pressing challenges of
climate change, land rights, and disaster resilience.
As young professionals, your role is critical in shaping a
sustainable future where land rights are recognized as fundamental to
building disaster-resilient communities. This event will provide a
pivotal platform for young surveyors from the region to enhance their
expertise in land governance, enhancing their capabilities to contribute
effectively to resilience strategies amid climate threats.

Young Surveyors can register for the pre-event together with the full
regional conference. The fee to attend both Young Surveyors meeting and
the Full Regional Conference is 100 USD.
Two FIG Foundation Young Surveyor Grants
Grant for Nepalese attendees.
20 grants are available.
Selection criteria:
- The applicant must be a Nepali citizen.
- The applicant must be below the age of 35.
- The applicant must have completed a B.E. in Geomatics
Engineering or equivalent, or a Senior Surveying Course.
- The applicant must have submitted full paper at the FIG Regional
Conference.
- The applicant should provide evidence of his/her significant
contributions to the profession.
